- Agent Platform: On a small tiger team, built a platform for teams to define,
publish, and run managed agents. Now helping 20+ product and platform teams adopt it by removing
blockers across agent invocation, dynamic prompts, controlled rollouts, multi-language SDKs,
durable sessions, secure sandboxes, and evals.
- Agent Sandbox: Owned the shared sandbox runtime used by 3+ AI products. Integrated
persistent workspaces and session hibernation, and hardened authorization and readiness checks.
Replaced a legacy runtime that lacked persistent workspaces and relied on linear namespace
scans, enabling agents to create files and resume work across sessions.
- AI Platform Reliability: Led reliability improvements across Atlassian's
AI products. Reduced average incident recovery time from 10 hours to 1 hour, migrated a synchronous
Kotlin service to coroutines, and cut redundant network calls by 90% with shared HTTP clients
and two-tier caching.
- Autonomous Browser Agent: Led 5 engineers building a Gemini-powered browser
agent for Internal Audit. Designed warm pools for sub-second startup, signed routing, and
per-session isolation. The system topped internal evals and completed complex compliance workflows
end to end.
- Jira Issue Service: Built a new Jira platform service that achieved 99.999%
reliability. Added a persistence layer and at-least-once event stream, improved P90 latency
20× by parallelizing authorization, and cut P99 latency from 10s to 200ms for the largest
customers.

Built a server-side form generator (JSON → React) for electronic real estate transactions,
a serverless healthcheck service (Lambda, SNS), and introduced unit testing standards
across the team.
